After the death of Emiline in 1878, Rev Wilhelm Peters remarried Auguste Emilie Wilhelmine Goetke She was the daughter of Wilhelm Goetke 1824 d 1885 and his wife Wilhelmine Sophia Henning b 1827 d 1904. Auguste was born in Germany 1854, and died 23 May 1941 in Queensland.
Rev Wilhelm Peters is buried at the old Sandgate Cemetery formerly in Bald Hills now Bracken Ridge.
He was born 13 November 1845 in Hannover, the son of Heinrich Peters and his wife Dorothea Burgdorf.
There is no corresponding immigration records for a Wilhelm Peters however there is for a Hans Peters, born around 1839 on the Peter Godeffroy leaving Hamburg and arriving 10 August 1865.
His father being Heinrich Peters, his name is more than likely Heinrich Wilhelm Peters (Hans)
He married Auguste Gotke 13 June 1878.
