The family of Johanne Frederich August Dickfoss and Henricke Sophie Schneider

Johann Friedrich August Dickfos was the eldest son of Johann Christian Friedrich Dickfos and his first wife Johanna Friedricke Reick.

He was born 28 December 1842 in Templin in Uckermark area and arrived with the family in Queensland on board the Cesear Godefroy from Hamburg, leaving 1865.






He married Henricke Sophie Schneider, as told in the Schneider story on 11 December 1860

The Henselin family of Christian Friederick Gottfired Henselin b 1827 and his wife Maria Wilhelmine Dorothea Litwoz b 1833 left Hamburg on 9 September 1865 for Queensland.

She lived in the Falkenwalde area of Eastern Germany he lived in Bietekow.  Like many small villages it has been swallowed up with the surrounding towns, such as Lutzow.

Article relating to the impending marriage of Eileen May Henselin, her prospective husband committed suicide   28 August 1941    She later became engaged to Edward Frederick Langfeldt of Eumundi in November 1941

  1. Great grandmother Maria Wilhelmine Dorothea was LITZOW, There is Lietzow as a mispronunciation but never seen LITWOZ.
